Garter snake is a common name for a small to medium-sized snakes belonging to the genus Thamnophis. Endemic to North America, species in the genus Thamnophis can be found from the subarctic plains of Canada to Central America.
Real garter snake preserved in fluid and sealed inside of a glass globe mounted in a black wooden base. Each specimen is different, may move around slightly inside of globe. Three sizes available (when stock allows), pricing varies.
These specimens are unfortunate victims of house exterminators during winter months in the northern US where they frequently brumate in basement of old houses. These were not the target of said exterminations, just an unfortunate byproduct.
